In a large bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Mix well and add half a cup of the mixture to the raisins, coating them well. Cream together your butter, sugar, and syrup until light and fluffy. Add your eggs one at a time, making sure each egg is well incorporated before adding another. Fold in your raisins and walnuts then pour into the prepared pan. Bake for 10 minutes then lower your heat to 300F then bake for another 30 minutes. Cool down completely. Makes 6 servings
