However since it is a petroleum based product your skin can not absorb it like it would be able to absorb a naturally moisturizing product like lotion or a butter/cream! When seeing tattoos that are healed by a petroleum based products you can see the dramatic difference that it has to a tattoo that was healed with a butter/cream, it is lighter, not as vibrant and can have spots where ink fell out due to suffocation of the fresh tattoo!
